M Is for Mouse: Learning Letters Through Play

At BabeeShark Home Daycare & Preschool, we make early literacy engaging by connecting letters with familiar words, animals, and creative experiences.

Today, our preschool children continued exploring the letter M through fun and interactive activities. We practiced recognizing the letter M, listening for its sound, and discovering words that begin with M.

One of the highlights of the day was our little mouse activity. The children enjoyed connecting the letter M with a familiar animal and discovering how letters can be used to identify words from the world around them.

Activities like animal alphabet learning help children build vocabulary, strengthen letter recognition, and develop early phonics skills. They also encourage children to make connections between letters, sounds, and real world objects.

By combining literacy with creative and playful experiences, children can practice important early academic skills while staying curious and engaged.
