Up, Up & Away: Learning Through Paper Airplane Adventures
At BabeeShark Home Daycare & Preschool, we believe learning happens through creativity, exploration, and joyful hands on experiences. Simple activities can become meaningful opportunities for children to imagine, discover, and grow.
Today, our preschool children explored the exciting world of paper airplanes. They practiced folding, creating, and decorating their own airplanes, turning a simple piece of paper into something unique and special.
After creating their airplanes, we took our adventure outside to the park. The children had a wonderful time testing their creations, watching their airplanes fly through the air, and discovering how different movements affected how far and how high they traveled.
As we ran, laughed, and played together, we sang “Fly, fly so high, up into the sky,” making the experience even more engaging and memorable.
This activity encouraged creativity, fine motor development, movement, observation, and early problem solving skills. Through play based learning, children explored simple science ideas like motion, direction, and cause and effect while building confidence and friendships.
At BabeeShark, we value experiences that combine imagination, active play, and discovery because these moments help children develop curiosity and a lifelong love for learning.
